The Lower Connecticut River and Coastal Region Land Trust Exchange (LTE) is coordinated by the Connecticut River Estuary Regional Planning Agency (CRERPA) and supported by CRERPA, Eastern Connecticut RC&D, and the ERT. he LTE, an informal collaboration, was formed to help promote and conserve a region whose cohesion (forest, River, and Sound) is held together by the final reaches of the Connecticut River as it flows from the northern borders of Haddam and East Haddam to its culmination into Long Island Sound, between the towns of Old Saybrook and Old Lyme. Its natural beauty and resources as well as its cultural and historic landscape have been acclaimed at the state, national, and global scale.
